MyVault™ - Upload Your Important Digital Assets
If something were to happen to you today, would your loved ones be able to find the documents that they need?
Do you have a spreadsheet that includes all of your accounts and passwords? Maybe you have been working on a novel,
or have some family recipes. Perhaps you have photographs of your great grandparents. Do you have copies of your
insurance policy or deed to your property? There are countless legal, personal and financial documents that need
to get to the right people at the right time (and not before). You can do this using MyVault™.
You can upload any digital assets, including documents, files, scans, photographs, audio, video.
You then set up security and access to your Vault so that the right files get to the right people at the right time.
You can add or remove assets from your Vault at any time.
We take care of protecting your Vault until after you have passed away. With MyVault™, you can upload
all of your important files and documents (your "digital assets"). We take care of granting access to them
once your Vault has been unlocked by your designated Keyholder® after you have passed away.
You can upload files, but why stop there? If you wish, you can even upload voice, pictures or video messages.
Let your imagination be your guide for how you wish to be remembered, and to provide critical information to your
loved ones. At the appropriate time, your designated Keyholder® will unlock your Vault and view the contents.
This could be legal and financial information, or a very personal insight into your life.
Your vault is completely private. Due to the secure encryption methods used to store your information at
LegalWills.ca, no one can see what you've uploaded,
not even anyone at LegalWills.ca. The only people
that will ever see the contents of your Vault are you and your designated Keyholder(s)®, and only when they
request access after you have passed away.
You can make unlimited updates for the rest of your life. You can keep your Vault active with
LegalWills.ca for your entire life, updating the
documents whenever you please. You never have to worry about a loved one stumbling across a document that might
be intended for them, but not quite yet. We take care of informing your Keyholder® where your Vault is located,
so that they can "unlock" it from anywhere in the world after you have passed away.

MyVault™ accepts any digital file. This can be photos, scans, mp3 files, Word documents, PDF files, video files.
Anything that can be put onto your computer, can be uploaded to your Vault. You can upload up to
500 Kilobytes of files for free.
You will designate trusted Keyholders®, each of whom will be assigned a unique and secure ID and password. At the appropriate time,
your Keyholder® will request access to your Vault. As soon as this request is received, we will automatically send a notification
to your email address and you will be given an opportunity to refuse access to your Vault. If, after a period of time determined by you,
we have not received an order to block the requested access, then your Vault will be opened.
It is important that you choose Keyholders® whom you trust. Although safeguards are in place to prevent the premature access to
your Vault, you should not expect any of your Keyholders® to request access to your Vault before the appropriate time.
There is no charge for using MyVault™ while you have an active membership. You can even store up to
500 Kilobytes of files without payment.

Dropbox and Google Drive are simply document repositories. You cannot assign access to these documents other than by giving somebody
your User ID and password. You also have no clear tracking to know when somebody has accessed, or attempted to access, your Dropbox or Google Drive.
MyVault™ is an estate planning tool. It is most powerful when used in conjunction with your Will, Power of Attorney, Living Will,
Messages, LifeLocker and other services.
The value of our service comes from the power of our proprietary Keyholder® Security System.
You name Keyholders® and grant them access to different services within your LegalWills.ca
account. You can then set up access to these documents to individual Keyholders® through the MyKeyholders™ service.
At a bare minimum, you should have your legal estate planning documents in place, including your Will, Power of Attorney and Living Will.
But this only gets you so far.
Your Executor will need to administer your estate, and this means gathering up your assets. Using MyLifeLocker™ you can list all of
your assets and contact information for critical people. MyLifeLocker™ is an invaluable tool for your Executor to understand the scope of your assets.
MyMessages™ can be used to create personal messages for individuals. When the MyMessages™ service is unlocked by one of your Keyholders®,
these messages are distributed to their respective recipients. Each person will receive the message that is intended just for them.
MyVault™, on the other hand, allows you to store uploaded items. It is a secure repository for important files. These can be documents,
but also audio, video, photographs, recipes, anything that you need to be passed on as part of your estate.
All of your information stored at LegalWills.ca
is safe and secure.
Your information is so highly encrypted that nobody has access to this
information other than yourself and your trusted Keyholders® using their
randomly generated personal key. Even the owners and administrators of
are not able to view the contents of your Vault due to the software design
and encryption methods used.
All data passing from your computer to LegalWills.ca

encrypted using 256-bit "SSL encryption". This is the most advanced level
of encryption available today, and it means that any information sent from your
computer is scrambled in a way which makes it completely unintelligible if
intercepted. When you are on a secure section within the web
site, a padlock will appear on your web browser.
This is your assurance that the encryption is in place and that you are
communicating across a secure link.
uses an industry standard high security
streaming-encryption algorithm known as "RSA" to encrypt all of your information
before it is stored online. To give you a feeling for the level of
security provided by this encryption, it has been estimated that with the most
efficient algorithms known to date, it would take a computer operating at 1
million instructions per second over 300 quintillion years (that's 3 with 20
zeros behind it!) to break the encryption. That's several trillion times longer
than the age of the Earth.
