LegalWills AIR MILES® Reward Miles™ Contest

Contest Rules & Regulations for LegalWills.ca

1. Contest Period
   • Contest is valid from August 26 - 30, 2024 (the "Contest Period"), online via Instagram.
2. Eligibility
   • This contest is open to all AIR MILES® collectors who are residents of Canada, excluding Québec, the age of 18 or over excluding employees of AIR MILES Loyalty Inc., RMG Loyalty, and Parting Wishes Inc. o/a LegalWills.ca as well as members of the immediate families of employees of such businesses (living in the same household as the employees). The contest is subject to all applicable Federal, Provincial and Municipal laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.
   • For the purposes of these Contest Rules, the entrant is the individual in whose name the AIR MILES collector number has been established and this is the individual to whom the prize will be awarded if he/she is selected and declared a winner."
3. How to Enter
   • No Purchase Necessary.
   • Contest is open to all eligible entrants who complete all three activities below during the Contest Period:
     1. Like the post about the contest on Instagram that is posted by the @legalwills account;
     2. Follow the LegalWills.ca page on Instagram (@legalwills);
     3. And tag a friend on the post about the contest on Instagram. The tagged friend must be an individual with whom you have a personal relationship.
   • Those who tag more than one friend in the post on Instagram will gain additional entries to the contest, i.e. 1 comment containing 1 tag of a unique friend = 1 entry.
   • Those who reshare the post about the contest on their Instagram story and tag the LegalWills.ca page (@legalwills) will receive an additional entry., i.e. 1 repost/share = 1 entry. Limit of one additional entry via the post reshare method.
4. Prize Description
   • One (1) grand prize (the "Prize") consisting of 30,000 AIR MILES® Reward Miles™ to be awarded within 30 days from the end of the Contest Period. Prize will be provided via electronic transfer to winner’s AIR MILES account. To ensure that the winner receives the Prize in their collector account, winner should ensure their balance preference (AIR MILES Cash Miles or AIR MILES Dream Miles) are set as desired prior to the Prize being posted in their collector account.
   • Draw will take place at 2420 Bank Street, Suite 45, Ottawa, Ontario, K1V 8S1, Canada on September 2, 2024 in accordance with the procedure described in Rule 5 below.
   • The approximate retail value of AIR MILES Reward Miles prize depends on the chosen method of redemption, available Reward options at the time of redemption, and the set preference between AIR MILES Cash and AIR MILES Dream balances. If redeemed with AIR MILES Cash, 95 Cash Miles can be used in-store for $10 towards purchases at participating AIR MILES Partners or 95 Cash Miles can be used online for eVouchers for $10 worth of value at participating Reward Partners. If redeemed for flights value depends on destination chosen, date of travel and use of multiple carriers or suppliers. Winner must pay applicable taxes, related transportation fees, governmental levies, excess baggage and other non-ticket costs. The value of AIR MILES Reward Miles used for non-flight Reward options depends on Reward options in effect at the time of redemption. AIR MILES Reward Miles prize is subject to the terms and conditions of the AIR MILES Reward Program as amended from time to time. AIR MILES Reward Miles prize is not transferable or convertible to cash and must be accepted as awarded.
5. Prize Drawing
   • Winner will be randomly selected via a draw from all eligible entries within the Contest Period. The draw will take place at 2420 Bank Street, Suite 45, Ottawa, Ontario, K1V 8S1, Canada, on September 2, 2024. The winner will be contacted via direct message on Instagram from @legalwills. If the winner cannot be contacted within 5 days from that contact attempt, another entrant will be randomly selected and the initial selected entrant will be disqualified and will have no recourse towards Parting Wishes Inc. o/a LegalWills.ca or its affiliates.
   • In order to win, the selected entrant must first correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited, mathematical, skill-testing question to be administered via email through a form that will be sent by LegalWills.ca to the selected entrant, and they will be required to sign a standard Declaration and Release Form confirming compliance with the Contest Rules, acceptance of the Prize as awarded and releasing AIR MILES Loyalty Inc., RMG Loyalty, and Parting Wishes Inc. o/a LegalWills.ca from all liability relating to the Contest. No substitution for, or transfer of the Prize, will be allowed. The selected entrant will have 5 days from the date of receipt to return a signed copy of the Declaration and Release Form to Parting Wishes Inc. o/a LegalWills.ca. If the selected entrant does not do so within this period of time, or if they fail to correctly answer the skill-testing question, another entrant will randomly be selected and the initial selected entrant will be disqualified and will have no recourse towards AIR MILES Loyalty Inc., RMG Loyalty, or Parting Wishes Inc. o/a LegalWills.ca or anyone involved in the Contest.
6. Condition of Participation
   • Submission of an entry constitutes acceptance of these contest rules by entrant. AIR MILES Loyalty Inc., RMG Loyalty, and Parting Wishes Inc. o/a LegalWills.ca do not accept responsibility for any loss, damage or claims caused by or resulting from this contest or the Prize. The prize winner agrees by accepting the Prize to release AIR MILES Loyalty Inc., RMG Loyalty, and Parting Wishes Inc. o/a LegalWills.ca from any and all liability arising out of, pursuant to, or as a result of the carrying out of the contest, including liability arising from the acceptance of the Prize as awarded and confirming compliance with contest rules. By entering the contest, entrants consent to the use of their names, city of residence, photograph, voice and/or image for publicity purposes and in all mediums utilized by AIR MILES Loyalty Inc., RMG Loyalty, and Parting Wishes Inc. o/a LegalWills.ca without payment or compensation.
7. Chances of Winning
   • Dependent on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
8. Ownership of the Contest
   • The contest is managed by Parting Wishes Inc. o/a LegalWills.ca. AIR MILES Loyalty Inc. and RMG Loyalty, are in no way connected to the management of this contest.
9. Enrollment in the AIR MILES® Reward Program
   • If a potential winner of AIR MILES® Reward Miles™ is not an AIR MILES® Collector, they may enroll in the AIR MILES® Reward Program by visiting airmiles.ca. By enrolling to become an AIR MILES collector you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the AIR MILES® Reward Program as amended from time to time.
